Mike’s wealth of experience in both acoustic and electronic music has led him to work across the musical spectrum, from live concert mixing of Jazz (Dizzy Gillespie, Modern Jazz Quartet), Blues (B.B King), Funk (Maceo Parker), Reggae (Ziggy Marley), and Latin (Los Van Van). He trained as a recording and mix engineer at London’s Strongroom Studios where he was equally at home in fully live sessions through to club remixes .

Mike’s first productions were Jamiroquai’s million selling debut ‘Emergency On Planet Earth’ and follow-up ‘Return Of The Space Cowboy’. Working with Underworld across 4 albums as mix engineer has put him at the forefront of the UK electronic scene, as has work with Sunship, mixing for the UK urban scene.

World music productions include KAL’s European wide No.1 debut album, co-writing and producing 'Eye of The Duck' for Natacha Atlas (American College Radio No.1), and mixing tracks for Sophie Solomon.

Mike is also an acclaimed 5.1 Surround Sound engineer, mixing the award winning ‘Everything, Everything’ DVD for Underworld and recently Bobby Parker, Buddy Guy and Clarence Brown, live at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Mike is currently mixing Santana 'Hymns For Peace' concert, featuring Angelique Kidjo and Herbie Hancock, amongst others.
