Geoff Foster
Geoff has spent much of the month of August film score recording in Lyndhurst Hall with composer Harald Kloser for the 2008 film release of 10,000 BC. Later on in the month, he begun work with Jennie Muskett on her new project Bears at the Top of the World, and the Peter Flinth-Directed film, Arn, about the Knights Templar, which will star Simon Callow. He also worked at AIR Studios on the score for Sweeney Todd, and has also begun work on the score for the new Dreamworks’ animated film, Bee Movie, which will feature the voices of Renee Zellweger, Jerry Seinfeld and Matthew Broderick Rupert Coulson After returning from Glasgow where Rupert was working with composer Paul Leonard-Morgan recording the music for a new world-wide ad campaign for oil giants Chevron, Rupert spent two days on the 10,000BC soundtrack in Studio 1 at AIR and went up to Rugby School in Warwickshire to record a pipe organ for the Sweeney Todd soundtrack.
Steve Orchard
Steve began August back with Travis in Studio 2 at AIR mixing “My Eyes” (Live) as a b-side to their forthcoming single. Steve also recorded live tracks with indie band Hard-Fi in Studio 1 at AIR. They recorded tracks for content to support their new album Once Upon A Time in the West. Nick Wollage Nick began work with composer Jocelyn Pook on the score for Brick Lane – due for release in November this year – about a young Bangladeshi woman who arrives in 1980s London for an arranged marriage and new life, leaving her family behind. Nick also worked in Studio 1 at AIR recording the Bee Movie soundtrack – the animated film due for a Christmas 2007 release. He then began work with Christian Henson at Abbey Road and AIR Edel on the film Buy, Borrow, Steal starring Heather Graham.
Jon Bailey
Jon continued to work on the Rugby World Cup anthems this month, and also spent time putting the finishing touches to singer Will Martin’s new album. He was mixing both of these in Studio 2 at AIR. |
