Geoff Foster
Geoff kicked off the month beginning recording and mixing the score for the film Definitely Maybe with composer Clint Mansell, and ex-Lightening Seeds front man Ian Broudie in Studio 1 at AIR. He then took up residency in Lyndhurst Hall moving on to recording for LOE, and Hans Zimmer. Rupert Coulson After finishing recording with Katie Melua for her new album, Rupert made two trips to Glasgow to work with composer Paul Leonard-Morgan recording the anthem for the US Olympic Team for the 2008 Olympics and the music for a new world-wide ad campaign for oil giants Chevron. He also found time to finish tracks for an up-coming singer songwriter Peter Shoulder.
Steve Orchard
Following recording and mixing Travis at the Strongroom, Steve continued his work with Israeli pop singer Aviv Geffen. He then finished the month back at AIR in studio 1 with London-based indie/garage beats band The Streets recording and mixing a track for BBC Radio 1’s 40th birthday celebrations. Nick Wollage Nick recorded the score for Caotica Ana with composer Jocelyn Pook at AIR and Strongroom. He then recorded with Christian Henson for EA Games, and scored In the Valley of Elah (staring Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron), at Abbey Road with composer Mark Isham. Nick finished the month back at AIR Studios in Lyndhurst Hall recording with Spanish flamenco guitarist Paco Penia.
Jon Bailey
Jon finished working with New Zealand singer Will Martin on his new album at the beginning of July, and spent the rest of the month working with Universal Classics & Jazz award winning singer, Katherine Jenkins, on her new album. Both of these sessions have been at AIR Studios in Studio 1 and 2. |
