Geoff Foster

Geoff began the month with a visit to Prague to work on a recording for vocalist Monica Naranjo with producer Chris Gordon (from electro indie outfit Union of Knives). He then went on to begin the film score for 10,000BC, which will be done by August (composer – Harald Kloser). 10,000BC stars Omar Sharif and is due for release in 2008. The film is a prehistoric epic that follows a young mammoth hunter's journey through uncharted territory to secure the future of his tribe. Geoff also recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Lyndhurst Hall for violinist Lara StJohn, and he spent a day recording with Katherine Jenkins and producer Steve Mac. Geoff ended June recording Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts with the London Symphony Orchestra in Lyndhurst Hall at AIR Studios.

Rupert Coulson

The month of June has been split for Rupert between working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on a Gershwin album at Lyndhurst Hall at AIR Studios, and recording duties with Katie Melua and producer Mike Batt, for her new album due out later this year. Rupert also found time in the middle of these sessions to record at Strongroom with songwriter Simon Ellis for Sony BMG.

Steve Orchard

Steve resumed work with popular Israeli singer Aviv Geffen both at Abbey Road studios and the Strongroom studios in Shoreditch. He returned to the Strongroom to record vocals for Virgin Records signed Sherelle McKenzie – a guest vocalist for indie pop band Palladium.

Nick Wollage

Nick's month began with recording Ben Wallfisch's music for the show Carnival. He then went on to record and mix the score for the Kenneth Branagh's remake of the 1972 film Sleuth. The new version stars Jude Law and Michael Caine (who played Law's role in the original). The score, by Patrick Doyle, was recorded in Lyndhurst Hall at AIR Studios. Nick then moved straight on to work on another anticipated blockbuster for 2007, recording the score for the third Bourne film, The Bourne Ultimatum, with composer John Powell.
Nick also recorded in AIR's Lyndhurst Hall with French singer/songwriter Etienne Daho.

Jon Bailey

Jon has been finishing off the album with acclaimed singer Will Martin and producer Simon Franglen for much of the month of June as the recording schedule now comes to an end and the process of mixing the album at AIR Studios in Studio 2 is in full flow. Jon also visited Rak Studios to record vocals of numerous opera singers for the Rugby World Cup song for this year's competition. The track "World in Union" is the traditional theme for the competition and will feature on the official album for the 2007 competition.
