Nick Wollage studied music and sound recording at the University of Surrey and was awarded the degree of B.Mus (Hons) in 1991. After two years training in the studio, he began working as a freelance engineer specialising in film and T.V music. He joined AIR Lyndhurst in 1996.
Recent film scoring projects include Brick Lane, Bee Movie, Fred Claus, The Escapist, Atonement, A Mighty Heart, Sleuth, The Bourne Ultimatum, Eragon, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, V For Vendetta and Pride and Prejudice, which earned composer Dario Marianelli an Oscar nomination and a Classical Brit Award. In September 2006 Nick had the privilege of recording a new string arrangement by Sir George Martin for the original demo version of The Beatles My Guitar Gently Weeps, for use in Cirque du Soleil's LOVE, and on the accompanying number one selling album. The Album has subsequently won 2 Grammy's at the 2008 awards. Nick has recently been working with composer Paul Englishby on the score for Miss Pettigrew, with Nathan Duvall on the score for Eton Path, recording the score for the new version of Brideshead Revisited and has been recording a new album for singer Caroline Lost. Nick's forthcoming recording projects include the new ITV1 drama Lost in Austen, new Dreamworks film Kung Fu Panda and new Adam Sandler film You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Nick was recently part of Dario Marianelli's Oscar winning team behind the score for Atonement.
