David M Saunders is a London-based Film/TV/Theatre composer whose writing draws upon a range of stylistic influences, from the contemporary to the traditional in order to deliver a soundtrack that compliments the director’s vision.

Television work includes Gavin Toomey’s black comedy Extreme and BBC programmes Infested! Living with Parasites and Sex & The West.  He has also written music for Stephen Fry’s Gadget Man, Benidorm ER, Ten Things I Hate, Lost Routes with Griff Rhys-Jones and Killers Behind Bars.

Working on a number of commercials for companies such as Hyundai, Colgate, Chevrolet, Teflon, Nectar, Batiste and Oxfam honed his ability to appeal to a wider audience, whilst affording him the opportunity to score talent the likes of Emma Watson, Jeff Bridges and Sir Ian McKellen. In 2013 he scored the UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony at Wembley Stadium.

David’s work includes scoring Kevin Spacey’s acclaimed film NOW: In The Wings On A World Stage, Up On The Roof (starring Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones), Joseph’s Reel (with Robert Hardy and Alice Lowe), Judge Dredd: Superfiend,  Mexican thriller Tierra Caliente,  Channel 4 documentary The Extraordinary Case of Alex Lewis and most recently his second forthcoming feature Salty (starring Antonio Banderas and directed by Simon West)
