In the summer of 2013 Olga became the latest engineer to join AIR Management. Olga first came to AIR Studios in 2003 on her year out from the Tonmeister course at Surrey University. On graduating, Olga returned to work at AIR full time and has since worked on many projects for artists including Coldplay, Guillemots and Noah & the Whale as well as large-scale orchestral sessions for films such as Atonement.
In 2012, she mixed many of the performances featured in the Olympic Games Closing Ceremony and accompanying album, for artists including David Arnold, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Taio Cruz, Tinie Tempah and Ray Davies. She provided pre-production for Coldplay’s Paralympic Closing Ceremony performance and also engineered on their live album/DVD.
The end of 2012 saw Olga spend two weeks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, collaborating with Ethiopian producer Abagasu Kibrework Shiota, recording an album of original and traditional music for Girl Hub, a not-for-profit-organisation focused on empowering adolescent girls in developing nations.
Last year Olga worked on Eliot Sumner’s new album Information and with Daughter recording and mixing the EP Live at Air Studios. She has also worked with Coldplay on Ghost Stories and A Head Full of Dreams plus she also regularly works with Academy Award winning composer Stephen Warbeck, recent scores include The Dresser (BBC2), Mon Roi (film) and Indian Summers (ch4 series 1 & 2).
In February Olga won the MPG Award for Recording Engineer of the Year 2016.
