Steve Orchard is a Grammy Award winning, (Perpetual Motion), producer / engineer who began his career in 1986 at PRT studios (formally PYE), moving to George Martin’s Air Studios in 1988.  

He has worked on numerous film scores including Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Insomnia, and The Mummy.  Steve has recorded and mixed original songs for films by artists such as Chris Cornell and David Arnold for Casino Royale, Sting and John Williams for Sabrina (which was Golden Globe and Oscar nominated), and Noel Gallagher for X-Files: The Movie.

Steve has enjoyed a long standing relationship with Travis, he recorded and co-produced their latest album 'The Boy With No Name' (2007), engineered and co-produced '12 Memories' (2003), and also worked on 'The Invisible Band' (2001).

Steve has recently worked with Brighton indie-pop outfit Gloria Cycles, mixing tracks for their forthcoming album (A&G Records). He has also been mixing tracks for American band Balan, and has just produced and mixed Naked and the Boys debut single 'If You Find Love' (Young and Lost). He is currently working on a new album with 'Crash My Model Car'.
