Ex Machina out now

Ex_MachinaAlex Garland’s stylish sci-fi thriller Ex Machina is out on limited release today (with full general UK release on Friday 23rd).  The film tells the story of a young programmer at the world’s largest internet company who wins a competition to spend a week at the retreat of Nathan, the company’s reclusive CEO.  When he arrives at the remote location he finds he has been chosen to be the human component in a test to evaluate the human qualities of Nathan’s latest experiment, a beautiful female A.I.  The eerie electronic score by composers Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow (of Portishead) was mixed by Rupert Coulson.
